Over the past few months, alongside our roaster, we put drills, screws, and construction craftsmen to work. While fine-tuning the flavor profiles of new roasts, we matched colors and assembled our new space piece by piece. Since mid-September, the aroma of espresso has been filling the air, and only delicious cocktails are left to be perfected to achieve complete balance. Welcome to Bratislava's most charming neighborhood, at our new location on Košická. It is just after eight in the morning, and the first morning athletes are already parking their bicycles outside the café door. The sunny spots beneath the windows have been claimed by a pair of business professionals holding a breakfast meeting, while a group of students has taken over the back table, deciding to review their schedules over a fresh V60. Just days after opening, you brought this café to life. Casual passers-by and neighbors from next door have all found their favorite nook here. Bringing you together and creating a lively, diverse space had been our plan long before this new address won our hearts. And we are delighted that it won yours, too. This location captivated us immediately. Even though Košická was not originally on our radar, a single glance from the sidewalk into the original premises was enough for us to envision ourselves behind the bar. The lush green surroundings, generous terrace space, and the genius loci of the entire street perfectly matched our vision of an ideal afternoon with a cappuccino outside the city center. And that is precisely how we wanted to become part of this new neighborhood. Before the weathered walls received fresh paint and our café took on our brand colors, several tons of beans passed through the roaster, dozens of craftsmen walked through the doors, and the classic adage "Rome wasn't built in a day" crossed our minds more than once. We patiently navigated the renovation, which took slightly longer than originally planned, and we spent part of that time in workwear ourselves. At times, our roastery turned into a workshop that produced custom-made tables and plenty of ideas. Looking up from our handcrafted tables toward the ceiling, you will be struck by our industrial sun—a lighting installation that plays with light reflection to mimic sunbeams across the gray ceiling. Our walls are adorned with original paintings by the talented artist Lucia Žitnayová, while rich yellow contrasts with azure blue throughout the space. The vibrant contrasts of Košická. Goriffee Košická is a space where you can experience our coffee at its freshest. Everything we package in our roastery arrives almost immediately on the café shelves, and a fresh roast is always ready in the grinder. In addition to coffee, our new venue serves drinks that make reaching your daily step goal well worth it. Our signature house Espresso Martini quickly established itself at the bar, earning top honors among cocktails for both our team and our guests. Furthermore, daily fresh pastries from local bakeries like Eberhard, Mandlove, and Le sucre make the perfect accompaniment to a delicious morning cappuccino. Stop by Košická and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of our new neighborhood with us. We believe that the familiar aroma of good vibes has followed us here as well.
