The transition to green energy, combined with its unstable supply or unresolved storage, paradoxically contributed to a huge return of electricity production from coal or gas. This gas is then missing for production by companies or for heating households, and all this pushes the prices of both gas and electricity to dizzying heights.

Everything is delayed, there is nothing in stock, no one knows when things will be restocked or when these problems will be solved. From chips to paper coffee filters, this situation affects the entire supply chain. And the problem is not only in production, but also in the transport capacities themselves, which shrank during the pandemic and are currently unable to operate flexibly and efficiently enough.

The pandemic apparently changed people's preferences and they increasingly remain voluntarily unemployed. This is apparently a structural change that will not just change, at the same time the lack of people significantly pushes up salary growth.

Climate change is here. Not in 5 or 10 years, but right now we found ourselves in the middle of a crisis and we could watch it fully in Brazil, where it froze during the ripening of this year's crop. In the country that is the largest coffee producer in the world, the crop will be lower by at least 30 %. Since then, coffee prices have been skyrocketing and with similar problems in other countries, we can only imagine where they will stop.
Not only the above-mentioned factors, but also many others have shot the inflation curve upwards, to the highest numbers in the last 13 years. This means that for the same amount of money we can buy fewer goods and services.
Unfortunately, all the problems outlined above, which increased our production costs and purchase prices of practically everything, forced us to react.
Therefore, even though we don't like it, from November 2021 we are raising the prices of our coffees. This will mainly affect Brazil Caramelo and the Highlander espresso blend.
