Signature coffee cocktails: Part 1

Our summer move allowed us to introduce specialties to our drink menu that command special attention behind the bar. Your conversations may now occasionally be interrupted by the rhythmic clatter of ice cubes in a shaker, and seconds later, a stemmed glass of coffee is on its way to your table. Enjoy autumn melancholy in style, with a glass of world-class coffee cocktails, or simply enjoy it from a low armchair with a warm filter and our exciting series on drinks where coffee reigns supreme.
In balance
They bring together the very best of what you look for behind the bar curtain. That is why the world fell in love with them. A perfect balance of flavors and aromas, strength and smoothness. Coffee cocktails are taking drink menus by storm in bars and cafes alike, and their pages have long carried aromas beyond the world-famous Irish coffee. Although the lady with whiskey gave many their first coffee-cocktail kiss—making it effortless to fall in love with the seamless fusion of exquisite coffee and warming spirits—the realm of coffee-scented drinks is far more diverse. If you count yourself among coffee cocktail lovers, step behind our bar with us and choose which one will tempt you in for a drink. Hold on to your coupe glasses, we're diving right in!

Espresso Martini
It ranks among the most popular cocktails where a fresh shot plays the starring role. Behind its creation stands legendary English bartender Dick Bradsell, who created its recipe in 1983 at London's Soho Brasserie. Shrouded in stories about an (un)known supermodel for whom Bradsell reportedly shook it up one night upon request, the drink caused an instant sensation. Her order was crystal clear: she wanted a drink that would wake her up and give her a kick at the same time. Since coffee beans rolled across the bar counter all day long in this establishment, espresso was the bartender's first choice. The second was vodka, which dominated the bar scene at night in the early eighties. For the third element, all it took was adding coffee liqueur with a pinch of sugar, and... a star was born. Soon, almost everyone in the bar was ordering this cocktail, and its fame could no longer be contained within Soho Brasserie. Today, the iconic Espresso Martini is enjoyed in the finest bars worldwide and remains one of the most beloved coffee cocktails of all time.
Goriffee twist
You can also find a unique twist on this cocktail legend in our menu. We dressed it up in a tropical shirt, and after just one sip, you'll agree it suits it wonderfully. We replaced vodka with a smooth, subtly sweet rum, added pineapple juice, and blended homemade orange oleo saccharum with our espresso.
Come and put a twist on it with us. We guarantee that by the bottom of your first glass, you'll find several synonyms for the word 'balance,' and toward the end of your second, perhaps even the urge to slip into a flamingo shirt.
Here's to November with an Espresso Martini!
